A rolling cart is one of those classroom purchases that sounds basic until you realize how many times a day you carry things from one side of the room to the other.
In a science classroom, it can become your “today’s lesson” cart.
I would use the top shelf for demonstration materials, the middle shelf for copies or student handouts, and the bottom shelf for the pile of things that always needs to go back to the prep area.
Because there is always a pile.
There is the thing you borrowed from the prep room. The extra goggles. The stack of worksheets you forgot to hand out to third period. The marker that does not belong to you but has somehow become your responsibility.
